I'm amused when my friend is always upset because she is "a noob" at writing or whatever she does (which, by the way, she is not, really). It's like... a funny thing to be upset over. Not like, a stupid thing, but a funny thing. But I don't usually know what to say when asked "Why am I such a n00b?"

Maybe being upset over sitting at home would be easier to explain, somehow.

Good Names For A Band

I have no musical inclination or anything like that whatsoever, but I love coming with band names. (I want to write a movie about people who want to make a band but have no musical inclination or anything like that whatsoever, but have an awesome band name, and end up getting some sort of following anyway. ...I have to make more of that up first. That movie will come after the "My Immortal" movie I want to make and the one where people wear cool glasses and try to buy things with huge money...um.)

So... Good names for bands, in my mind:

Survivalist Housecat
Condescending Mustache
The Psychic Hello
Cheap Slut Sex Poodle
Binary Dessert
Running Prostitute
Stripey Shirts
Argyle Shoes
You're Not Ashamed To Be Seen With Us, Are You?
Jumping Out of Boxes
How I Felt At The Time
Bloody Gothic Rose 666

There are totally more. How hard is it to come up with band names, right? I could do this all day.

I'm asleep, for the record. Well, watching things in the dark. Usually when I watch live things in the middle of the night in the dark, it brings some sort of nice experience with it. I really should be sleeping, obviously, but this is awesome. I can sleep tomorrow at "KBUZ" because no one will let me edit this week. (Re: that - How hard is it to check your transitions so the chroma keying background isn't put on display for two seconds for the whole school to see? And to turn down the audio so we don't blow up the TVs? And to burn a DVD? Thank you.) Or I can just not sleep ever at all. Who knows.

I'm awake and that's all anyone is really sure of, right?

I decided to write stuff down here when the Tylenol kicked in, but it hasn't really. I'm considering going down there and getting MORE TYLENOL. MOOOORE. But I probably won't. Relevant to Tylenol, I got home today and realized there wasn't any. It was conveniently placed in my mother's lunch bag, which was not in close proximity to, uh, me. Or my house. Whatever. (That's irrelevant. Or is it? I'm not sure. Can things be irrelevant in this context? I can just say whatever I want, right? I don't care what you think. I'm so bad at this. AAAA)

Pre-Tylenol incident, today was funny. To me. I got this hilarious note from this guy asking me all of my interests and then if I would "go out" with him. It was actually pretty cool that he asked me about myself, but...don't people get to know people before, not in the act of asking them out, or...? It was just a bit unusual, but I appreciated the niceness thing. I filled out the survey and politely declined because "going out at our age seems to me a stupid and meaningless thing, no offense." Oh, nice. No offense. NICE. This guy also happens to be obsessed with my shirt pockets. I'll let you imagine that.

I finished editing my project, "The Bowl," for the school television station. It was so great to take charge of everything and making everyone see me as this jerk. Actually I am kind of so that's cool. I am fine with it because I got something done and I like the end result. That's all about that, really. Long stories.

This is not that funny at all. So much for that one plan. I'll have to observe people so I can make fun of them. AHAHHA JAY KAYYY

I want to write livejournal posts that are hysterical and funny and awesome. And then people will be like "Amerah is funny."

So, yeah. In the near-to-distance future, I maybe perhaps might do that.

I don't do this.

Not usually. I am posting one of these. I go on livejournal all the time to read stuff, but I don't post. I don't want you reading anything I have to THINK. Haaa...haaa. No one's really reading this anyway.

School started.

And for once, school starting felt like something was ending rather than something beginning, if you know what I mean. Summer..was pretty amazing. For most of it, I didn't do anything..just kind of sat here with this computer on and stuff. And it was great. And then there was the brief traveling, and events. Which was super and great. Great. Great. Great. Great. I need a new word. Great.

On the Friday before school starting, I was just kind of thinking about all this. Oh, and, like, use of the word "infinite" from The Perks of Being A Wallflower; that wasn't completely irrelevant, either. (The way that word is used in that book is like a certain happening.. that is just sort of selfishly wonderful, and crazy, and sweet, and, if you will, "epic." Something you want to live again and again, but you don't, because it's so special.) I like to think I've gotten to know people better and vice versa and stuff. Like my one friend who I've shown a lot of awesome things (John Green books, etc.).

It's felt like a long time.

And a few things happened this summer that I felt were "infinite" in a way or two, or even just NICE- Alfest, definitely, various internet things after that (Everything Will Be Alright, yeah? xD), and even the camp thing I had to go to for five days or something. (Although...my ultimate happiest moment on that trip thing was when I was eating a banana and a cookie.)

As my friend told me, "Well, to the next chapter! /&_&\ (:)<>(;)"  ..:D

Wow I typed a lot. Um.. Good day.

Hello children of the internet! I have an IDEA!

As you may or may not know, I have been having some issues with my camera (also known as its weird design causing the port for the video to the computer to break completely off), causing my channel to remain videoless for a couple of weeks or something. I may be getting a new camera soon, and I want to “come back” to YouTube with a good video. Or at least, another moderately efforts-were-made video, whether you think it’s good or not.

My idea is actually quite lame and unoriginal. I just want you to ask questions.

Well, I figure it will be a little while before I purchase this camera and it actually gets here, there are certain things that need to be worked out, etc. etc., and this gives you time.

There’s only like, five of you, right?

Anyway. Ask questions. Ask more than one question. If you don’t, I’ll make up my own freakin’ questions. Ask them through myspace, twitter, facebook, dailybooth, or whatever it is that you’re on. I really like people to actually acknowledge and participate.

I hope this is awesome.

I don't know what to say on here, but I feel kind of bad about leaving it. So I'm saying SOMETHING...
I should write about something, though. Instead of just THOUGHTS or whatever.

Um.. LAS VEGAS

I went to Las Vegas. Which I do. A lot.
And I saw my father and the rest of the people. And the dog. And we saw a lot of movies.

The end. It was fun.

Uhhh. Dailybooth. I like it. A lot. (I am not a good writist, forgive me.) People ask me what the point of it is, when there's Twitpic. Well, yeah, there's Twitpic, but it's just for posting pictures, whateverwhatever, or whatever. (Geeeeeeeez.) Dailybooth is for posting pictures, but it's for posting pictures (strictly, I like to think) of YOURSELF, at least for most of the time, and DAILY. Hence the name. Sure, you could do that with Twitpic, but Dailybooth's very POINT is to do what I said before...It's more obvious and stuff. And you can see how you've grown and your environment has changed, stuff like that. It's FUN. And you connect with others more. Remember..the internet? Yeah.

I should say what I've been doing this summer other than Las Vegasing and Dailyboothing....it's simple, really, sitting here and sleeping. Organizing my CDs and my wall, and wanting...WANTING...to clean out my closet. (Haven't gotten quite bored enough yet.) I'm also actually keeping up with Twitter, so that's pretty great. I THINK.

Soooo...I get bored. INTERACTION PLZ? Ask me a question or something. First, I want to copy that bloggy thing I read on here, I think it's called Nerdsome writers, so here I will: I'm going to ask you questions. (Thanks for the inspiration, Nerdsomes.) :D

1. Do you have a favorite hat? What's it like?
2. How many shoes do you own? (or pairs of, if you will)
3. Do you know anyone with MASSIVE TEETH?
4. What are you reading at the moment? I mean in general, not...right...now. Because that would be a very unsmart question.

Now you should ask some. :P

Figured I'd write on these. They still exist.

Thoughts: I need to pass these upcoming tests so I can be in geometry with all of the other smart ninth graders and stuff next year, although I kind of hate shapes. Plus I don't want a freaking D in math.

Also..any books anyone recommends that are in the Amazon Kindle store?

Happenings: I may be making a "collab channel" on YouTube with a friend.. What do you think the name of it should be? She's already rejected "YankoviccingAwesome".. Lol. I like "ObscureReference" or "ArgyleShoes," but let's face it people: Someone already has the best name: AAA Channel. And that's me. :P

Tonight the Soup's on at 11 for an HOUR! It's never on MONDAYS...only FRIDAYS...I'm staying fricking up for it though, that's for sure. I don't care if I have to sleep in health. So yes.. ROCK!
So tonight I will be twittering direct from my couch, because I am the child who watches all the Soup for YOU!

STAY TUNED!

I couldn't sleep last night. I was too excited for things.

I don't know what else to say. Maybe I'll say things later when I can think of them again.

What I Must Do.

I should study. For tests. Or clean my room. Or fix the pictures and stuff I have taped up in the corner of my room. Or type a "Birthday Report" for History, in which the teacher hates me sometimes and likes me sometimes. (UHHH, WHY?!?! And...YESSS!)

Studying For Tests
Chapters 9, 10, and 12, of which I STILL don't understand, apparently, even though I did everything the teacher said to do when she went through the test before. Math..I like the concept of it. But I hate having to do it, sometimes. I like equations. The ones with those x's and whatnot-x+2=78,965,473,979,544. Like that. But you know...less complicated in some areas and more in others.

Cleaning The Room
There are clothes and stuff..on the floor. And under the bed there are things too. The closet is very messy. And there's a magazine on the floor. And a rainbow milk carton.

Fixing the Pictures
As I'm looking behind me, my view is being blocked by a freaking plastic set of drawers that I use as a tripod sometimes (as well as my windowsill, desk, bed, etc). But, uhh... Anthony Geary fell off the wall, and four of my fourteeeeeeen Queen CDs have fallen, and so has my small poster of Weird Al. It kind of glided across the room, too.

Birthday Report
I have to write a thing about 10 things that happened on my birthday. End of story.

Other
It seems ok. Mostly. I have to get a few things in Health done. Other than that, I've got As. Except PE, but who cares about that anyway? Not I. I despise it. I would rather get an F in that class than an A; Although it would, for the GPA, probably hurt me. I don't have an F, though, I have a B. Partly because I don't have any way to do that bad in the class without effort. And I don't want to put effort into PE. I walked the mile and got 16 minutes. xD

...Who cares about my PE class?

:\

I've been reading things. Because I like to do that. I like reading things that have been written a while ago, before I knew of them. (I'm not necessarily meaning books here.) It kind of made me want to write that I like to do that. So this is it. Hello, Blogger.com.
Those things I was reading..sort of inspiring, as I mentioned with the previous part, and also depressing. I don't knowwww.

I sort of wanted to "blog" more often. Because when I didn't have a computer, sort of like...since 5th grade, I kept a real journal in a book. It wasn't a personal narrative, just random stuff.. and then I tried doing a personal narrative earlier in this school year, but that was disrupted by some leaving the house of my almost-former-stepfather and that whole event's hecticness/weird times. Then came the computer...of which I love verrrrry much, and I call it Dandy Warhol. With the computer came the ability of type, and so that I did. For a little while I would just type whatever I was thinking and save it as a works document or something. After a bit that stopped. But I was thinking this might be good...see if I like doing more of this. If I can think of something to write as much as possible.

Um. I just decided to move a bunch of files around in my computer a little bit ago. I came across some random conversations that apparently I saved while talking with Luke.

I think we're very random.

Yes.. Today was my birthday. I guess I talked about that enough elsewhere. It was weird...I got up, and my mom gave me socks. :) I love socks...I have so many. She said something else is coming in the mail, though...so that'll be nice. I guess. We had cake later.

I don't have any friends here. xD Well, I have people I know but honestly, the only people that I would be totally comfortable hanging out with all the time is the person I do hang out with all the time. But I bore the heck out of everyone, so that's understandable. I don't know what else to do with people around, besides make videos and watch them. And edit sometimes. ;D

I should stop typing... I feel a little better than before I started, so...yes.. I still feel like talking to people, though.

I stole my friend's magazine. It's still sitting here  on my floor, right by the computer. Neatly open to page 84. I wonder if anyone will notice.

Nothing as usual

I don't know what to do, but I felt like blogging or whatever... to my one follower on Blogger! YEAHHHHHHHHH! And whoever gets to read this on LiveJournal. Did anyone read this? Hm. I don't know.

Ah, yes it is Mother's Day. And I feel like a super bad kid as usual, but worse, because I didn't think to get anything for my mother, thinking she'd be ok with it (which is stupid of me..I know. I'm heartless and I deserve..what?) because she usually doesn't even care at all about that kind of thing. But I guess since lately I've been walking home past a store and I have this money on my desk (that was for something we're doing for church, ok) I could have bought something for her. But I am bad at this. I hate buying things for people, honestly.. I feel awful about the whole thing though. I made her this yesterday, before she brought it up:

It's...I don't know.
I don't know a lot of things in this post, do I?

Umm..tomorrow's my birthday. I got an iPod a while ago as a present for it, my grandmother's giving me the gift of a adult companion to Alfest, and I certainly don't want anything from my mother..maybe my friend will get me a hat or a webcam or whatever she decides..last year I got a bunch of random weirdalstar.com stuff for my birthday. Which was pretty cool. And I got a CD from my friend.

Ah yes. Friends.

Last night I went out of my house for once to see a movie with Lauren,  my friend who coincidentally has the exact same birthday as I (All of you thousands of readers may know her as a bus gangster, an oreo eater, or a fashion-show-goer-to from AAA Channel), and another friend. The movie we saw was 17 Again, which I thought was really good, especially the nerd friend. He was the best. And I want his house. Then we hung out at Lauren's grandmother's house for a bit, it was very nice.

Then I came home, put on some penguin pants, and watched a rerun of Doctor Who. Also known as my Saturday night each week.

Good bye.

Writer's Block: You Don't Know Me

Our friends don't always know us as well as they think, particularly when it comes to likes and dislikes. Which popular book, movie, band, food, TV show, etc. would your friends be surprised to hear that you don't like?

View 500 Answers

Oh whatever, I'm very cynical. I make it very clear what I don't like.
Movie: Umm. Twilight. :)
Book: Twilight... (HA) Because of the concept. The weirdness of it avoiding things (growing old, actually having some bonding thing), and stuff. Ugh. And his perfectness. Why? WHYWHY and it's so popular. And not very complex. Geez. But she wrote it in a way that was fun to read, so there you go. My positive input.
I'm rewriting Twilight. Edward is a nerdy dude. And Bella's this chick who dresses awesome and rocks out on the bass guitar. But I don't want to be particular. And she's a secret nerd. They meet on the Nerdfighters ning and somehow live by one another, and fall in Nerdfighterlike. Then they're friends for a couple of years before they figure out that they're perfect for each other, and then you find out Edward is a vampire. THERE.

Band: ah. Well. I don't know. I think everyone has different tastes, really.. but you know what? People like music because it's catchy or popular, and that's not cool. They should like it for how it makes them feel. It can be catchy or whatever I don't care, but the priority...anyway..I guess probably stuff that doesn't take effort. Decide for yourself.

food: Woohoo, meat. I don't like it because it's flesh. Um. Whatever. But yeah, just so many reasons to be a vegetarian for me. I'm not saying everyone should be a vegetarian. (definitely eat less, for the environment and stuff, but that's another story). I'm just answering. ha.

TV Show: Uhh... I don't really watch much TV, except for the shows I like. The Soup ftw!
Probably some weird shows my brothers watch...and that's all I can think of.
Reality shows bug me, but if it weren't for them, there'd be no SOUP!! I LOVE THE SOUP...:P

Also, regarding the livejournal.

People who are looking at this from tonygeary.net and are wondering where the heck a fan blog is, scroll down. It's just linked to my page and not the direct entry. Or go here and stuff. I don't know.
Thanks to the people there for liking my blog! :) It was cool to happen, so I had to buhloggabout it. :)

Why is it that Blogger wouldn't let me copy anything into it the other night? I ended up putting a bunch of screenshots of my Livejournal stuff on it. Oh well, I'm going to type things into Blogger and then copy and paste it into Livejournal now. And it sure as butter better work or I will be an angry... walrus child? Oh no, you do NOT want that to occur.

I did some stop motion, sort of, with Shel from the Jonas Brothers yesterday, and yeah, some glasses and stuff. Then I ramble about subscribing (not to me, mind you).

I'm SUPPOSED to be, like, doing a poetry portfolio. In that I'm supposed to write ten poems (WTF NONONONONO!?!?! I CAN'T), pick four poems from four different people from a list (which has a few musicians, but, uh, no fricking Freddie Mercury! What the tapioca?) and then, do a soundtrack of your life.. "_ How..? Bonus, they all have to have their poetry devices identified.

Some of the songs that were suggested for me: (I don't think they were thinking about how they related to me, though..) Do I Creep You Out (thanks, Emily) Dare To Be Stupid (again..thank you people), and...Don't Trust Me? I don't get how I correlate with... maybe it's the vegetarian line in that (sort of dumb) song. :D I'm a vegetarian and I ain't fucking scared of him... lol.

The End of me typing like I talk.

Bonus thing because of Blogger not letting me copy and paste:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZYzjnpWUKY&feature=related

That's funny because a) I was there and b) snowflakes, upon being put in the sun, will melt. :)

Some weird outing.

Yesterday I went to a fashion show thing for the Utah Youth Village, an organization that offers shelter to kids who might come from a troubled background and other things. My grandmother Denise Ames (note: NOT the actress...) is a director of special events for Dillard's, who was "presenting" the show, and she hired my mother and her friend (whose daughter is also MY friend) to "dress" the models who would be.. modeling, so to speak, and we tagged along. They do this every year, but last year I had to watch some siblings. This year I was excited to go because Anthony Geary would be there. Anthony Geary is an actor who's mainly known for being in General Hospital, a soap opera, as Luke. I myself have never seen that show (I will sometime). Personally, I was just excited because he plays the second-awesomest character in UHF, Philo. :D
We drove to this hotel in Salt Lake where the event was taking place, and then Lauren and I kind of stood backstage for a while. At first, Anthony Geary was I guess rehearsing his singing, and then the community and professional models rehearsed for a little bit. When this was going on, Anthony Geary kind of came backstage. We (being my mother, her friend, Lauren, and I) were kind of just standing there. Then he turned around and said to me, "Hi. I'm Tony Geary." I was like, "hiiii.." and I shook his hand. Here's my twittertweetwhatever:

Then he shook a bunch of other people's hands who were standing there. My friend's mother (aka my mother's friend..?) made this weird  sound, it was pretty funny. I also met Anthony's nephew Dax, who seems pretty cool, but who I probably scared when I told him I googled his name upon my grandmother mentioning him to me in a text a few days prior. He looked at me quite strangely, and I said yeah, I'm pretty creepy, and he said he was flattered, actually. xD Awesome.
Lauren and I went to go sit with these people who were being models in the show during the lunch beforehand. They were really nice. I started talking, trying to make conversation, about UHF and Anthony Geary being in it. Then, the girl next to me was like, "Really? Who does he play? That's our family's favorite movie!" I told her he was Philo, and the whole table was all excited. xD Pretty cool.
Then they had some speakers, some people from a news channel or something, some other people who were part of the Utah Youth Village, some kids, and then Mr. Geary, who then sang this one song... (wow, I'm such a great writer). After that, they had the kids from the Village model some clothes, and then the community and professional non-kid models modeled (so to speak).
Lauren and I went back backstage after the show to see what everyone was doing, where we ran into Anthony Geary again. I said "Good job!" and he was like, "Thank you!" Haha. A while later, there was a line in which if you donated five dollars to the Youth Village you could get an autograph from Mr. Geary. He seemed really nice to everyone, and even picked up this lady's crutches she had set down when she was done taking a picture with him. :) I was like "Awww.." Lauren looked at me weird, as if to say "He's 62." :DAnyway, I got a picture with him when I got through the line:

I was thinking he was probably getting all sorts of "you were in GENERAL HOSPITAL!! OMGOMG!" stuff, I said he was awesome in UHF and that his character totally saved the day, pretty much. He said that UHF was a wild movie and that Weird Al was "a very nice man." :D It was so cool to talk to him. He was super nice. Lauren and I went back backstage and ended up going back to get Lauren's mom an autograph, too.

When we left after cleaning up a little bit, we rode around in the car and went to Olive Garden, and made "unfortunate last name" jokes. You don't really want to know.

..."Brooke Ruff Seamons"

If she happens to ever read this...sorry... and.. how did you find me?!??!

Then we watched an old Doctor Who episode (we being my grandmother and I, who was visiting up until about an hour ago). So it ended up being a total epic-like day. :D Woo! I just had to blog or whatever about it. :)

Sorry for writing badly.

~Amerah Ames. !

Mostly I agree with her on things..like our mutual fondness of Queen, Twilight opposition, and other things.

Parents:

Well... I don't think...I'm not going to say they don't, but, there isn't really anything obvious I can say that they say. Except for my dad when he's on the phone with me: "You're funny." right-o, then.

And siblings:

They laugh at my ability to happy dance.

I don't know what people think of me, honestly. I can say what's great about them. But not sure the other way around.
